Who We Are

"Ceviz", "we", and "our" refer to the operator of the Ceviz app. For support, legal questions, or notices related to these terms, write to getceviz@gmail.com.

Age Requirement

Ceviz is designed for parents to use. To use the app you must be at least 13 years old (or older, if a higher minimum age applies in your country). By using the app you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to accept these terms.

The Service

Ceviz is a mobile app composed of modules covering different stages of parenthood. Our first module is Lullabies & Sounds — a library of calming sounds played offline to help soothe babies. Pregnancy, Baby, and Kids modules will follow in later releases; whenever a new module has additional terms, we'll publish them here or in-app. The app does not require an account; all preferences and recordings stay on your device.

Ceviz is not a medical device or a source of medical advice; for medical questions about your baby's health, development, or sleep, please consult a healthcare professional.

Acceptable Use

You may not use the Service to:

• violate applicable laws or regulations;
• reverse-engineer the app, attempt to extract source code, or modify it without authorization;
• attempt to manipulate, circumvent, or abuse the in-app advertising mechanisms (including with bots);
• extract and redistribute the bundled audio content in a way that would breach its license;
• bypass the app's security features, regional restrictions, or store-applied age limits.

User Recordings

The in-app feature for recording your own voice runs only on your device; recordings are not uploaded to any server and we cannot access them. You are solely responsible for the copyright and legal status of any content you record; in particular, do not record a third party's voice without their consent.

Advertising

To remain free, the app shows native ads via Google AdMob inside the Sounds list. Ceviz is not responsible for ad content, third-party links, or offers presented through AdMob. Ads are subject to the policies of independent ad networks.

Intellectual Property

The Ceviz name, logo, brand elements, design choices, software, source code, text, and graphics are owned by or licensed to Ceviz and are protected under applicable intellectual property laws. Except as expressly permitted by these Terms, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the Service.

7.1 Bundled Audio Content

Sounds bundled with the app come from public-domain sources, CC0 or properly licensed archives, or suppliers that grant commercial-use licenses. Where attribution is required, credits are provided in the in-app "Sound sources" area or in the resources linked from this page. You may not extract these sounds from the app to redistribute them independently.

Privacy

Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it as well.

Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party services such as app stores (Apple App Store, Google Play), advertising infrastructure (Google AdMob), and device operating systems. Ceviz cannot be held responsible for policy changes, outages, or behavior of those services that is reasonably outside our control.

Changes to the Service and Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we'll try to surface a notice in the app and we'll update the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the app after the updated Terms take effect means you accept the new version.

Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the app. We may suspend or terminate our obligation to provide access if we believe the app is being abused, creating a legal risk, or if doing so is necessary for security or compliance reasons.

Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the Service will run uninterrupted, be error-free, or behave identically across all device/version combinations. Ceviz does not provide professional advice on baby care, health, or medical matters; it is designed as a helper, not an authority.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ceviz and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, goodwill, data, content, or business opportunities. Where liability cannot be fully disclaimed, it shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Ceviz harmless against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your misuse of the Service or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts and execution offices of İstanbul, Türkiye.
